Integrated Farming

A Scalable, Sustainable Agriculture Model for Indonesia.

What is Integrated Farming?

Integrated Farming is Agro Investama’s sustainable land-use system that combines perennial crops (oil palm, coconut) with seasonal food crops (upland rice, corn). This diversified approach strengthens land productivity, improves soil health, reduces chemical input dependency, and builds a more climate-resilient agroecosystem.

The model is already implemented on Agro Investama’s plantations in Kalimantan, supported by green technology, biostimulants, and soil-based crop planning. It creates a balanced ecosystem that benefits both long-term production and farmer livelihoods.

Diversified income

Higher productivity

Diversified cropping delivers greater output per hectare than monoculture.

Biostimulants reduce the need for chemical fertilisers, improving soil fertility.

Perennial + seasonal crops offer more stable and secure revenue.

Organic residues are recycled, improving soil structure and reducing waste.

Diverse agroecosystems adapt better to extreme weather and pest pressure.

Agro Investama Land Footprint

Agro Investama Group manages one of Indonesia’s largest integrated farming land portfolios, totaling over 52,000 hectares across Sumatra and Kalimantan.

Land composition includes:

  • 52,120 ha — licensed operational land
  • 17,430 ha — HGU land prepared for development
  • 11,265 ha — planted area under active production
  • 12,289 ha — non-planted area for expansion, agroforestry, and conservation

This scalable land base enables long-term sustainable agriculture programs aligned with national food security objectives.

How Integrated Farming Enhances Land Utilization

Each land category plays a specific role:

  • Planted areas provide fruit and perennial crop supply for agroindustry.
  • Non-planted areas support food crops, livestock integration, and bioenergy projects.
  • Research zones test new crop combinations and soil management techniques.
  • Conservation areas maintain biodiversity and long-term land resilience.
  •

The combination creates a holistic production ecosystem that is both productive and sustainable.

How Integrated Farming Works

A clean, science-driven extraction sequence:

1. Fresh seaweed selection

Harvested from Indonesia’s rich marine ecosystems

2. High-pressure processing

Seaweed is compressed under controlled pressure.

3. Low-temperature extraction

Heat-sensitive components remain intact.

4. Cell burst release

Advanced technology unlocks inner nutrients.

5. Pure seaweed extract

Concentrated and ready for downstream applications.

CellNova produces a stable, potent, and eco-friendly liquid nutrient ideal for soil and plants.
